Despite increasing digitalization, afb Application Services AG successfully relies on personal contact for recruitment

afb presented itself for the third time at the Augsburg company contact fair Pyramid.

Munich, 13 June 2014 - afb Application Services AG (afb), a leading pan-European full-service provider in the field of Retail Finance, continues to focus on personal contact with future employees even in the age of digitalization and social media. afb presented itself for the third time at the Augsburg company contact fair Pyramid, which took place on 28 May 2014 on the campus of Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, and received a lot of attention from students and graduates.

Under the motto "Develop yourself", three employees from the Human Resources, Software Development and Requirements Management departments were available for personal discussions with visitors to the Pyramid and provided information about entry and development opportunities at afb.

Inés Brand, HR Manager at afb, says: "Of course, the search for applicants today is very much conducted via digital and social media. Nevertheless, we still consider personal contact via trade fairs to be very important and the Pyramid is ideal for us. We always meet a large number of motivated graduates there who are eager to finally put their skills to use. We are pleased that we are getting more and more visitors every year. This year, we had an additional colleague with us as reinforcement and yet we were in constant conversation. The first applicants got in touch straight after the event."
